DC Wedding

One of the highlights of May was going to DC for Lindsay's wedding. It is very rare that all of my siblings get to be in the same place at the same time and being in DC for such a happy occasion made it that much better.

We started the weekend with the rehearsal dinner at Clyde's - complete with delicious food and very sweet speeches from family and friends of the bride & groom.

During the day on Saturday we got to enjoy being tourists in DC - checking out some of the museums and walking around the mall.

And then it was time for the main event. Y'all, the wedding was b-e-a-uuutiful. The location was amazing, the setting was intimate, and the decorations were incredible. The best part was watching Lindsay & Dave - I'm not sure they stopped smiling all night!

Sunday we had planned to check out all the monuments - which was altered slightly by the Rolling Thunder Rally that had most streets blocked off. Luckily we still managed to see some of the favorites before we had to take Sarey back to the airport.

Thanks to Mr. and Mrs. Gorman for planning such a special weekend in DC! I could not be more happy for you two!
